EI Halloween in Jurassic Park

on Blagden Ave@ EI Headquarters in Washington, DC

The most exciting party of the year is coming soon and EI is ready. Our recently renovated lower level will be turned to a pre-historical cave which sets the stage for our Jurassic Park theme.

That does not mean that goblins and ghosts are not welcome, it just means that if you haven't chosen your costume yet, you might consider scavenging for some dinosaur skin loincloth or lions' tooth necklace indicating the number of lions you have killed for your Russian Cave woman!

This Halloween theme has suggested itself after my artist son Alex brought from NYC a collection of paintings of pre-historic animals and birds. The bright colors of the paintings matched the color of our new lower level space so well that we decided on the Jurassic Park theme immediately. So...

As usual, All EI members and Get to Know Us members are invited. Offerings of deer or bear meat and libation of wines at the altar of the Prehistoric Goddess of Love are always welcome. May the Goddess continue to bestow more happy matches on us and bless EI marriages!

Let's Dance Party (September '11)

Our Let's Dance! Party held at EI headquarters in September was a huge success and produced new matches. Our members came from all over to enjoy each other company and find love. They arrived from NJ, PA, IN, OR, SC, MI, MD and VA. These gentlemen and ladies had traveled a distance to attend the party and will do it again, in their own words. I am happy to hear that! I suggest to enhance the Saturday experience with a follow up Sunday brunch in one of the Washington romantic restaurants overlooking the city.
