Annual Memorial Weekend Swimming Pool Party Slide Show

Memorial weekend is the time when many people in Washington, DC area are heading to the ocean. It is an official opening of the "beach season". Therefore it was a big surprise for me to discover that about seventy people came to the EI swimming pool party rather than taking off to the beach on Saturday of the Memorial weekend. I am sure that they were glad that they did it.

The weather was perfect and encouraging to swimming. James Bocharov, our Russian (single) singer did his best to entertain the crowd most of the time. By the end of the party he fell in love with most of the ladies and offered to perform at any and all our Saturday Club parties in the future.

Russian style home made food brought by our ladies was joined at the table by American style home made berries-in-liquor desert. Grills became men's sanctuary. They kept producing more and more food all night long. The variety of what came out of the grill was amazing.

I know that a lot of phone numbers had been exchanged. I need to arrange a special pen supply station for that purpose next time :)

At least half a dozen kids born in EI families enjoyed Swimming Pool party together with their parents. Victoria is nine, Danny is five, the twins Stephanie and John are almost two... Only looking at them I realize to what extent EI changes its clients lives. This is what life is worth living!
